Art for a Happy Day
This programme was created to help people to improve their self-esteem, overcome and release negative emotions and achieve improvement in wellbeing.
“Art for a Happy Day” is a coaching programme based on the research of arts therapy and is a creative method of personal expression. The tenets of art therapy involve humanism, creativity, reconciling emotional conflicts, fostering self-awareness, and personal growth. [Wadeson, H., Durkin, J., & Perach, D. (1989). Advances in art therapy, New York: John Wiley & Sons].
The “Art for a Happy Day” programme helps people recognize their defense mechanisms that conceal their fear of inadequacy or to create a sense of safety and peace. It also helps to increase confidence, express feelings verbally, and identify feelings.
During this programme you can explore your own creativity. Part of the programme relates you to your inner spirituality. The “Art for a Happy Day” programme allows you to enter into a dialogue between your inner and outer experience and to translate this into an artistic process in an aesthetic context.
The programme is for 12 weeks. Our sessions are weekly and last 2 hours.
The programme can be done in a group or individually. The programme can also be done over the internet.
We provide advice and guidance towards achieving peace for the mind and soul.
